About us

Boğaziçi University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratories (ROYAL) is an academic community that conducts pioneering research in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. Our laboratories work on topics such as the design of robotic systems, the development of artificial intelligence algorithms, and human-robot interaction.

With an interdisciplinary approach, ROYAL aims to produce innovative solutions by bringing together experts from different fields such as engineering, computer science and neuroscience. The projects carried out in our laboratories contribute to both the academic world and the industry.

In addition, we offer our students and researchers the opportunity to develop themselves through seminars, workshops and conferences we organize. As ROYAL, we aim to assume a pioneering role in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence in Türkiye and the world.
