The “Workshop on Developing a Guide for Faculty Members on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence: Assessment and Evaluation Processes,” organized online by the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Education Laboratory (RYZEL), will be held.

Abstract

This workshop will address assessment processes in the context of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in higher education. Current practices in higher education worldwide and in Turkey will be summarized, and assessment approaches in the GAI era will be discussed. Additionally, examples of policies regarding the use of GAI in courses will be examined, and participants will collaboratively draft a course-level GAI policy.
